College Football Playoffs Mystery Box
ESPN wanted to create the most fun station at the College Football Playoffs media day, so we took the viral mystery box trend to the next level, building a custom box just for the athletes. Their reactions were priceless as teammates gathered around and egged each other on, making this one of the most engaging sets on-site!

Strategy
For the mystery box activation at the College Football Playoffs, our strategy focused on creating a fun and engaging experience that would resonate with the players while tapping into the current social media landscape. We wanted to create the best produced mystery-box anyone had ever seen! We carefully curated the items to surprise and excite the players, selecting a mix of quirky objects like a rubber snake, fuzzy mascot stuffed animals, and various food types. The goal was to encourage playful competition, knowing that unexpected textures would spark some great reactions. The players' enthusiasm, along with their teammates cheering them on, made the activation a standout success at media day!
